Ereichbar durch unterschiedliche Gewichtung von Laufen und Gehen beim Laufen nicht über 80%, beim Gehen nicht unter 60% Ihrer maximalen Herzfrequenz – und am besten mit Hilfe eines Pulsmessers.
3-4 Trainingstage pro Woche sind ausreichend, das heißt nach jedem Trainingstag ein Ruhetag, aber nicht mehr als 2 Ruhetage hintereinander.
